Mastering the Pencil Tool
The Pencil tool is perfect for detailed work and freehand coloring:
How to Use:
- • Select the Pencil tool (it highlights when active)
- • Choose your color from the palette or color picker
- • Adjust brush size with the slider (smaller for details, larger for coverage)
- • Click and drag on the canvas to draw
- • Release to stop drawing
Pro Tips:
- • Use smaller brush sizes for edges and details
- • Use larger sizes to fill areas quickly
- • Draw slowly for smoother lines
- • Overlap strokes slightly for even coverage
Using the Paint Bucket
The Paint Bucket tool fills enclosed areas instantly - perfect for backgrounds and large sections:
How It Works:
- • Select the Paint Bucket tool
- • Choose your fill color
- • Click once inside any enclosed area
- • The entire area fills with your chosen color instantly
Important Notes:
- • Areas must be fully enclosed (no gaps in lines)
- • Small gaps may cause fills to "leak" into other areas
- • Use Undo if a fill goes beyond intended area
- • Perfect for large, simple shapes

Use a small brush to clean up edges after using the paint bucket for a professional finish.
Color Harmony
Choose colors that work well together - warm colors (reds, oranges) or cool colors (blues, greens) for pleasing results.
Strategic Tool Use
Use paint bucket for large areas first, then pencil for details and finishing touches.
